I love thinking about the kindness of God (Ephesians 2:7) and the new mercies of God each new day (Lamentations 3:22-23).
I like hunting for the kindness and new mercies each day. I even love interpreting difficult things as kind, divine magnets that pull me to Him. Everything comes through the filter of His love and mercy.
Can you imagine living like this were true? We’d worship all day long in any trial. We’d experience comfort and joy because we know God sees what we don’t see and works out His plan for our lives.
And this plan represents His kindness and mercy, even if at first, I’m disappointed, discouraged, or even devastated. I’ve come to learn this after all these years: Everything points to Him.
