He’s writing about taking whatever force comes against you–whatever debilitating or disappointing thing–and using that force to send you off into a good, beautiful adventure. You can use that terrible thing.
The question is how. Adjusting my sails has everything to do with attitude and expectation that come from a faith in God’s power and love to work things for good.
I’m either swept away or sailing. I’d rather sail.
