It’s more specifically for Aunt Kathy’s Caramel Cake.
Certain things–at least in the minds of my children–make Christmas so special. I love finding out what they remember from year to year and treasure about all the family traditions and foods. And I find it fascinating how what they treasure is often something peripheral, something you don’t often think about first. It’s often one little thing the family does or eats or says.
And for this family, it’s Aunt Kathy’s Caramel Cake that makes the holiday for them.
