In all my years nest hunting, I still have yet to find a hummingbird’s nest. But I’m starting to dwell in hope. My hummingbird feeder now attracts three different kinds of hummingbirds, and they like to hang out in the winterberry bush. They like to perch on the tomato cages. They like to be here.
I know these nests are hard to discover. But I’m hoping.
I love hope. I need it.
